Book Your Pumpkin Picking Tickets

Hallcourt Farm is in Midgham, just off the A4, near Woolhampton in West Berkshire. We are an easy drive from Reading, Thatcham and Newbury and just one hour from London via Junction 12 of the M4.

Our pumpkin patch opens on Saturday 17th October and runs on selected dates through to Halloween, on Saturday 31st October.

Yes please! You need to purchase tickets in advance to book your timed slot for the pumpkin patch.

Our most popular dates and time slots do sell out, so we recommend booking early.

Tickets are £6.50 per person on weekdays and £7.00 per person at weekends. Under 2s are free. There is a £0.30 booking fee per ticket and a 1.5% transaction fee is added to the cost of every complete booking.

Pumpkins are priced separately starting at £1.

Every ticket includes entry to the pumpkin patch, access to the woodland walk complete with a puzzle to solve and prize to win.

We are the only Pumpkin Patch in Berkshire to include pumpkin carving and decorating in the ticket price.

Tickets also include giant bale play, lots of outdoor games and memorable photo opportunities.

Parking and wheelbarrows are free!

Yes - it really is!

This is one of the best bits about coming Pumpkin Picking at Hallcourt Farm! Our beautiful barn is decked out for Halloween and we provide pumpkin carving equipment and easy to wash acrylic paints so you can leave the mess right here and take your pumpkin home ready for the spooky festivities!

We would recommend you bring a bag or a box for your pumpkin if painted pumpkins are your thing - it helps to keep you (and your car) clean!

Stickers are also available to purchase if you fancy something more than carving and decorating with paints.

The trail is unpaved and some areas are bumpy and steep. The fields and paths can get muddy, so it’s definitely easier going on foot in wellies than with a pushchair.

If you bring do bring a pushchair, you can leave it outside the woodland walk - or if you are determined to take it on the walk - be prepared for a work out!

On Sunday 25th and Wednesday 28th October, we are offering specific dog friendly days, where well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

On all other days, we regret that dogs will not be allowed.

Yes, we have ample parking space in our fields (close to the barn and pumpkin field) to accommodate all visitors.

Yes! We have a delicious selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolates, cakes, bakes, homemade soups, hot dogs and artisan ice-creams available to buy from The Lamb Yard Café - a wonderful new space for 2026!

We will also be serving up wood-fired pizzas between 4 - 6pm at weekends.

Every year our pumpkin patch has steadily grown.

We now plant over 10,000 seeds every May with varieties including Polar, Racer, Goosebump, Becky, Fireball, Crown Prince, Casperita and Winter Squash.

We give it our very best shot to grow our own pumpkins every year.

Nature can be tough and whether it’s the weather or hungry deer we have to contend with, it can mean we have to top up our supply from local farmers who have better irrigation - and solid fences!

No, it’s built to be fun rather than frightening! All the decorations are lovingly put together by hand and we hope there is something in the trail to keep everyone well entertained!

The Woodland Walk is approximately 1/2km across uneven ground.

We offer standard portaloos on site and on request, we have a bathroom specifically available for baby changing only
